Welcome to the Loveland Church of Christ

We are a Bible-believing, Jesus loving group of Christians meeting at 4100 South Taft Avenue in Loveland. If you are looking for a church home we hope you will come visit with us. We would like to get to know you. You will not be pressured.

About our congregation

We are independent of any outside organization. We have a local group of elders who guide us. We occasionally cooperate with other groups on projects, such as mission efforts or disaster relief, but we are not affiliated with any regional or national group. All of our leadership, decision making, and funding is entirely local. We have and follow no creeds or rules. Rather, we try to be a Christian congregation as described in the New Testament.

What to expect when you visit

Most of our assemblies are a mix of worship and Bible study. Christ and His message given to us in the Bible are central to our beliefs and we study His word constantly. We remember Christ's resurrection weekly as we take the Lord's Supper. We practice acappella (without instrument) congregational singing. Don't worry if you can't sing! You will just blend in with the rest of the voices. The purpose is to praise God, not to show off our singing. A collection is taken weekly to support the works of the congregation, but we will never expect our visitor to give anything. All parts of our assemblies and classes are completely open for you to visit and participate in.

Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights we will also break out to smaller classes for bible study. A full range of classes for kids and one or more classes for adults is usually available. There is always an auditorium class and you can join that if you do not want to go to a smaller group.

People will be dressed in everything from suits to jeans. Follow your personal preference. There is no dress code. The focus is on Jesus, not what someone wears.

If you get out without someone greeting you and expressing an interest in you, then we have not lived up to our principles. Please give us another chance. We are interested and we hope to meet you. If you have a need in your life there may be someone here who can help you in some way.
